Is it really necessary to brush the dog’s teeth?
What is the right way of tooth care in dogs?

I’ve already seen even rotten teeth (cavities) in dogs but, infected because of a fracture. Dog’s teeth are not close together and the teeth format is pointed and not flat, full of little cuspids as ours are. They do not retain food and there’s no cavity formation.

For convenience, our dogs eat dog food and it may remain attached to the teeth’s wall close to the gum.

What most frequently happens in these cases, is the tartar formation and this we may avoid offering bones to the dogs, periodically.

Fruit does not offer the same mechanical resistance, thus not producing the same friction than the action of gnawing bones.

In the forests the wolves eat the bowels first, then the flesh and finally they gnaw the bones... cleaning their teeth.
